The Zonkraft website may use "cookies" to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.
One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the Web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalize Zonkraft pages, or register with Zonkraft site or services, a cookie helps Zonkraft to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. This simplifies the process of recording your personal information, such as billing addresses, shipping addresses, and so on. When you return to the same Zonkraft website, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the Zonkraft features that you customized.
You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the Zonkraft services or websites you visit.

Zonkraft as a Fulfillment Service Provider (Shopify and Third-Party Integrations)
When a merchant installs the Zonkraft app on their Shopify store (or connects Zonkraft through another supported integration such as Etsy), Zonkraft acts as a data processor on behalf of the merchant, who remains the data controller of their end-customer data. Zonkraft processes end-customer personal data received from the merchant strictly for the purpose of fulfilling orders on the merchant's behalf. Merchants who wish to receive a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) may review and accept it at www.zonkraft.com/dpa.
End-customer personal data we process for merchants. The following fields are accessed only through Shopify approved Protected Customer Data scopes:
· First and last name — printed on the shipping label to identify the recipient.
· Shipping address (address lines, city, state/province, postal code, country) — used to generate carrier labels and deliver the package via UPS or other supported carriers.
· Phone number — required by carriers for delivery contact and by customs authorities for international shipments.
· Email address — required for shipment status and tracking notifications triggered through Shopify, and for resolving delivery issues (undeliverable packages, address corrections).
Purpose limitation. End-customer personal data received from merchants is used solely for order fulfillment and the resolution of fulfillment-related issues. Zonkraft does not use this data for marketing, advertising, profiling, statistical analysis, resale, or any purpose unrelated to shipping the merchant's order. Zonkraft does not sell, rent, or lease end-customer data under any circumstances.
Automated decision-making. Zonkraft does not use end-customer personal data to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on customers.
Customer consent. Zonkraft respects and honors consent decisions communicated by the merchant regarding the processing of their customers' data, including opt-out requests.
Sub-processors. To deliver fulfillment services, Zonkraft uses the following sub-processors, each bound by data protection obligations consistent with this policy:
· Amazon Web Services (AWS) — infrastructure hosting, storage, and encryption (United States).
· UPS — carrier label generation, package tracking, and delivery.
· Stripe — merchant payment processing (end-customer personal data is not shared with Stripe).
· Shopify — source platform from which fulfillment requests and customer data are received.
Security measures. Zonkraft protects end-customer personal data with technical and organizational controls including:
· Encryption of data in transit (TLS 1.2 or higher) and at rest (AES-256, managed through AWS KMS).
· Encryption of database backups with the same standards applied to production data.
· Strict segregation between production and non-production (development, staging, testing) environments. Non-production environments do not contain real end-customer personal data.
· Principle of least privilege for staff access to systems that store end-customer data, enforced through role-based access controls.
· Strong password policies and multi-factor authentication for employee accounts with access to customer data systems.
· Access logging for all queries that touch protected customer data, retained for audit purposes.
· A documented security incident response process. Merchants and affected data subjects will be notified of incidents that materially affect their personal data without undue delay, and in accordance with applicable law.
Data retention. End-customer personal data received for order fulfillment is retained only for as long as necessary to (i) ship the order, (ii) support post-delivery operations such as returns, replacements, and customer service, and (iii) comply with tax, accounting, and other legal obligations. Zonkraft deletes or anonymizes end-customer personal data after these purposes are satisfied, and upon merchant request or app uninstallation in accordance with Shopify's customer data request webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact).
Data subject rights. Merchants and end-customers may exercise their rights under applicable law (including the GDPR and CCPA) — including the right of access, rectification, erasure, portability, and restriction of processing — by contacting privacy@zonkraft.com. Requests from end-customers are honored through the merchant where required by law, or directly where Zonkraft is the controller.

Zonkraft reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account, by placing a prominent notice on our site, and/or by updating any privacy information on this page. Your continued use of the Site and/or Services available through this Site after such modifications will constitute your: (a) acknowledgment of the modified Privacy Policy; and (b) agreement to abide and be bound by that Policy.
